Training benchmark for 457 sponsorship visa

Employers sponsoring under the 457 visa scheme are required to meet a number of requirements before they can be approved as a sponsor. One such requirement is the need to demonstrate their contribution and commitment to the training of Australians by satisfying one of the “training benchmarks” outlined by DIBP (former DIAC). Nortwest college now offers training for businesses and companies which are required to train their employees to comply with the Temporary Work (Skilled, Subclass 457) visa requirements. More information about the training benchmarks for 457 Visa can be found at www.border.gov.au.
